  • 1. How big is this party and what's the age group?
    We're catering to 600+ people. And, we're certain this party will sell out as it has every other year. From past parties, we'll say that 40% of guests are between 19 and 30, another 40% between 30 and 40, and 20% over 40.

  • 2. If I buy tickets online, how do I get them?
    If you have purchased your tickets before December 15 we will mail your tickets to the address you provided. After December 15 please bring your receipt and tickets will be provided to you at the door. Valid ID required

  • 3. How much is a hotel room and what type of room do I get?
    For the special rate of $119 you have the option to book a traditional Guest Room with either 1 King or 2 Double Beds. Room types are subject to availability and it's recommended you book early!   • 5. What else do I need to know about the hotel?
    Check-in is at 3 pm and 12 noon is check out. For earlier check-in requests please call the hotel directly. The person who books the room must present a valid credit-card to the Hotel's front desk.   • 6. Is parking available?
    Underground parking is available for a $6.00 flat fee for guests arriving after 5:30pm and not spending the night. The rate for overnight guests is $21 for overnight parking.

    Meet celebrity DJ Ray Ray
    DJ Ray Ray has been a professional DJ for over 20 years. As of recently over the past 5 years he has produced some records under his alias "PHONO JONES" and is signed to record labels around the world in Australia, Germany, Belgium, France, England, and New York City. He has also played for Project Runway Canada when they filmed in Ottawa and for a private party for Kiefer Sutherland in Mexico City. He has also opened for Drake, Talib Kweli, Will.I.AM (Black Eyed Peas), just to mention a few. DJ Ray Ray is back this year by popular demand! He will spinning famous music inspired by New York City, top 40 and music that will keep you on the dancefloor all night long!

    At STARFISH events we are committed to our community and love giving back. We throw lavish parties with extravagant themes and this party is no different. With the New York theme we wanted to support the arts community and it was only fitting to support a cause that relates to music and the arts.   • 9. Have you organized New Year's Eve parties in the past?
    Yes! This is our 4th annual New Year's Eve celebration produced in Ottawa. Our guest demographics include all ages from 19 and over. Dress code is always stylish and party perfect - our guests love to be entertained in a lavish setting with party favors, great cocktails and appetizers and lots and lots of dancing.

    We want to raise as much money as we can for MusiCounts. We will be hosting a silent auction at the event with top 12 prizes for 2012 - 100% of the proceeds supporting MusiCounts. The highest bidder at 11:30pm will win the trip to New York City.
