STARFISH is proud to be supporting Ottawa Fashion Week. Our goal is to ensure OFW stays on the event calendar for Canada’s Capital for year’s to come. We have tremendous talent in this city and we are fashion. Ottawa Fashion Week is fast approaching and we want you to be part of the action! Taking place from March 24-27 at the Ottawa Arts Court, the event will feature pieces from the Fall/Winter 2010 collections of several Canadian and international designers.
Joining the roster of talented designers is internationally-renowned menswear designer Ralph Leroy who will be showcasing his Fall/Winter 2010-2011 collection on Friday March 26 at 9:00 p.m. Entitled Manu Militari, Leroy created this collection with inspiration from a modern military world while still incorporating sophistication and individuality into each piece.
“I’m excited and happy to attend Ottawa Fashion Week. I’m very proud to support Ottawa, and want people to realize that it’s not just a small city… it’s full of opportunity,” Leroy said. When asked what attendees can expect from his turn on the runway, he said, “My show is not just a fashion show… it’s much more!” He was recently nominated for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award at the 3rd Annual Gala of Excellence held by the Jeune Chambre de Commerce Haïtienne de Montréal.
The launch party that was scheduled for Monday March 22 has been rescheduled for Wednesday March 24, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. and will be held in The Studio at the Ottawa Arts Court. Come kick off Ottawa Fashion Week with us and enjoy refreshments and live music prior to the first runway show.
