Did we ever get Carried away! Over 390 guests enjoyed swag bags, a silent auction, and the best Sex in years – Sex and the City: The Movie, that is! Ladies in sky-high stilettos packed the theatre for the ultimate girls’ night out. Mocktinis served compliments of Jazz’Oo and tasty treats courtesy of Le Cordon Bleu helped kick off an event the likes of which Ottawa had not seen. One lucky winner even walked with a Tacori Circle of Life diamonds-and-gold pendent from La Maison D’Or.
The party continued at Jazz’oo where guests savoured themed martinis, the sounds of live jazz by Mellow Dee and even a little dancing. The night ended with an entertaining Best Shoe contest where four lucky ladies took home some excellent prizes from La Mode Hair Studio, Jazz’Oo, Hotel Indigo, The Bay and HUSH to name a few. Thanks Ottawa for making this event a huge hit! We raised tons of money for a local Breast Cancer charity and had a blast doing it! And the fun doesn’t have to end — STARFISH is heading to New York City this July to experience Sex and the City all over again! So ladies? What do your shoes tell about you? Tell us your best shoe story, be it funny, sad or serious… for a chance to win amazing prizes. Here is what you need to do. On June 5th before 7pm, fill out a ballot at Empire Theatre. After watching the Sex And The City movie show off your shoes on the catwalk at Jazz’Oo. If you are selected as a finalist by our celebrity judges your story will be read aloud. The top four finalists will be chosen based on the best story. A Sex And The City movie trivia game will be played to determine the grand prize winner!
