Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings from the team at STARFISH creative events + inspiration!  With the fall season beginning, we are writing to you with great excitement.  As part of our events line-up for Fall-Winter 2008, we have negotiated a private screening of the new James Bond movie Quantum of Solace at the Empire Theatre in the World Exchange Plaza on Thursday, November 20, 2008 .

This event promises to be a superb outing for James Bond fans in the city.  The party will include a chic reception, silent auction, private viewing of the movie and an after-party with cool gadgets, fun cocktails, and lucky draw tickets.  Tickets are only $20 and this event can accommodate up to 700 guests.

This event also serves to build awareness of both colorectal and prostate cancers.  A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation in support of their $35 million Building on Our Strengths campaign.  A great portion of these funds will support the new Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre, where patients will receive chemotherapy or radiation therapy, provide additional surgical suites for cancer surgeries, and the addition of new and enhanced diagnostic imaging technology to provide confirmation and clarity for both doctors and patients.

Let's work together and create a memorable event for the Ottawa community. Enclosed with this letter are the sponsorship plan and group sales form.  Please take the time to review each and decide how you can best contribute to this important event.  We can assure you positive exposure during the holiday season, and we are happy to accommodate your needs.  Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
